All went according to plan. I did have to go to the hardware store for a bigger C-clamp, because my old one isn’t big enough for these calipers, but fortunately I have my motorcycle back, so I didn’t have to put my car back together for the quick trip. New pads in all four corners (WinMax V5, recommended by and purchased from !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ), ATE Typ 200 fluid, and my new pressure bleeder works awesomely for one man brake bleeding. I even tinted my tail lights red in between tasks, because I never cared for the Altezza look.
In the middle of all this, a woman on the phone walked over and started demanding where I lived, who I was, and all that. She was in the process of complaining to management, because allegedly car repairs aren’t allowed where I live. It’s never been a problem in the two years I’ve lived here, but I suspect the recent

was fresh on her mind and she just lumped me in with those guys. It’s not like I was pulling the engine. I wasn’t even using my cordless impact wrench specifically to keep the noise down and not disturb the neighbors. And nobody else walking by had any problem with what I was doing.

I hate people that complain at such trivial things such as what you did, they need to get a life

I actually use a big pair of pliers for plumbing to squeeze my calipers. Works on mine because they don't twist.

I just use a regular c-clamp and the old brake pad to reset my calipers since they’re nothing fancy, just slide right back to normal, no twists or nothing like that.

Yep, same here. I just needed a larger clamp than I previously owned. No issues at all, except the nosy neighbor.

That’s one of the things I love about my truck. I like doing work myself and most parts are simple and doesn’t require a lot of tools
